This new issue, part of the Valencian Transport Museum’s Booklet Collection, constitutes a first monographic study of the dry docks of the Port of Valencia.
Within the Booklet Collection, this is the fifth issue dedicated to the history of the city’s port. It looks at the Varadero Público, the Varadero de la Junta de Obras and the Varadero del Dique Flotante, all of which were built in the first decades of the twentieth century. Only the Varadero Público still exists today, but all of these dry docks represent a significant stage in Valencia’s history.
