With texts by Inmaculada Aguilar, the various chapters that make up the catalogue for this exhibition, held at the Ateneo Mercantil de Valencia on 19 May and 15 June 2017, broaden and complement the themes explored at the event itself.

The catalogue provides an overview of the work of Demetrio Ribes, the architect behind the Estación del Norte, before focusing on the period at which the station was designed and built, then moving on to the attention to detail visible in its ornamentation. Finally, in an epilogue of sorts, the author reflects on the day-to-day aspects of the station and the perspective of it provided by historical photographs.
